My Hometown

There is no place like home!

It’s a different feeling when one is in his/her hometown. It is comforting and relaxing while enjoying the environment of one’s own hometown. This is what I usually feel when I am in Bukidnon. A feeling I could not compare when I am in other places.

As early as three in the morning, white and blue collar workers are busy preparing them for work. As the sun rises, workers are busy planting, taming and harvesting the crops. Fields of pineapples are also cultivated.

The freshness and coolness of air soothes every cell of my body. The tall, stunning pine trees stand in the road side. The brown leaves of Mahogany trees fall like an autumn. Sunflowers greet the travelers on way. Red, yellow, pink flowers bloom. Mountain ranges add to the view as the road curves over viewing the towns.

The green wide flat field is occupied by children playing soccer with their coaches. Couples enjoy gazing at the sky as there are groups of teenagers chatting and laughing. Families gather and enjoy each other’s company.

People start to prepare for dinner as the rays of the sun turns into orange. Children stay inside their homes as fog covers the place. People end the day while saying ‘Tsada kayo karon na adlaw ai’.

  2. Tsada jud diha sa Bukidnon!!
Tsada pud didto sa among lugar, sa Cagayan de Oro City!!
The former is a rural haven and the latter is a buzzing city. Both were different. Both places were just near from each other. They are actually neighbours. A place like Bukidnon will be the nearest smooth escape far from the busy streets of Cagayan de Oro City. With Bukidnon's scenic and panoramic views of the mountain ranges, one can say that God is the most artistic Creator of all!
